Samuel Todd was born in Tennessee about 1812.
Around 1831 he married Sarah Nancy Hanks and
they migrated westward as new areas opened
and probably initially landed in Indiana,
then kansas and oklahoma. also lived in virginia.
The children born of this union are:
Margaret,Jesse, Joseph, Isreal, John, Calvin.

Son: Joesph(1839)Todd and wife Sarah(1845) had the following children:

minnie(1875)
francis(1879?)

Son Isreal(1837) Todd and wife Mary Jane (Perry)(Trickel)(1833)
had the follwoing children:
Julia a (1862)
john (1869)
emma (1870)
sarah (1873)

The Todds first settled in kansas in chautauqua county in the 1860's, then later in sedgwick county.
