I have a photograph which looks to have been taken about 1920-1930, of a band. In the center of the photo are two bass drums on which is written, "Rock Island Association, C.R.I.&P. Horton, Kan." and "Rock Island Association Band." There are 55 men in the photo, at least seven of whom, appear to be black. What was the Rock Island Association of Horton, Kansas. Are there any descendants of persons who were in this band?
