I am attempting to research my father's mother, ALTA ISABELLE COOLEY. She married my father's father, Francis Kipling, and supposedly my father was born in Lawrence, Douglas County, Kansas on 19 AUG 1895. He would have had an older sister, Zeruie Marie, born 27 JUL 1893 in LaFayette, Indiana. Does anyone know of the Cooley family or Kipling family in Douglas County during 1893-1897? Any response would be appreciated.
