According to the "Old Settlers' Tales", JOHN WILSON (aka John T. Wilson) came to Savannah from Indiana in 1861 or 1862 and settled on what is now the T.I. Eddy farm. It goes on to say that the postoffice was named after John Wilson's daughter Savannah. It also states that John Wilson had two other children who died while he was living there and who were buried where Mr. Eddy's garden is now. What were the names of these two children and when did they die? Are they still buried in the garden?
