Timothy's father was Timothy Galutia and his mother was Mary Galutia (maiden name Kibbe from other sources). Brother Abiram D. Galutia, followed Timothy to KS in 1883.

Timothy Galutia, Jr.--Co H, 53rd Reg't, PA Volunteers, 4th Brigade, First Division. Enlisted 29 Mar 1864 at Coudersport, Potter Co, PA. Mustered in at Harrisburg, PA. Honorably discharged at 8 Aug 1865 at New York City. Height 5'6", dark complexion, dark hair, dark eyes. Occupation shoemaker.
Suffered hernia at Battle of Cold Harbor, VA 3 Jun 1864.
