I am looking for descendents of the Barnhart family. My great grandfather was Francis Barnhart - born in Dexter, KS on October 1, 1885 and died in Wichita, KS on December 1, 1961. I know that he lived in Winfield and was married to Lula May Asbury on July 28, 1910. They had three children - John, Arthur and Leroy "Pete". I also know that he lived in Blackwell, Ok when he was 51 years of age - around 1934. Francis lists his parent as being Henry and Rachel Ellen Hayworth Barnhart. I have information that Henry came to Kansas with his two brothers, Jacob and Daniel and they are listed on the 1882 Dexter township census. Francis may have had other families in Kansas or Oklahoma area. Would desperately love to get in touch with any descendents or anyone who might have any information on any of the above people.
