My great grandmothers name was Mary Thomas, her father was General Thomas, but I have been unable to find out what his first name was or what her mother's name was. Mary was born in 1842 and died in 1892. I believe that Mary was blind. She married a man by the name of Absalom Hiltibidle. My grandmother once told me that Thomas County had been named after my great grandfather. Anyone that can help me with some information would be appreciated.....Thank you...
