You can probably find an obituary in the Oakley newspaper for that time period. They are microfilmed and available for ILL from the Kansas State Historical Society. Take a look at the following web page:

and follow the link to "Research and Collections", scroll down the page and take the link to "Newspapers". You are now at a search page, fill in Oakely, Logan and 1920 to 1930. The results page will give you the microfilm number you need. Also take a look at the link to the interlibrary loan policy while you are here.
