Vol 18, #4, of the Midwest Historical Genealogical Register of 1984 had an article on "A Canadian Colony in Kansas". At least six of those named are descendants of my ancestor, Lt. John Grierson. The families settled mostly in Kechi Township, but one girl Elizabeth Brill married a Monti Teter (Letar) settling in Wichita.
