Sherdahl was located on the railroad about half way between Scandia & Republic. (See p.70 "Homeland Horizons" 1975-76) Arthur Emmert owned some of this property between Dec. 1931 & 1934. Arthur & Bertha Emmert lived about 2+ mi. S. of Republic on the W. edge of Union Twshp.
