I am looking for information on a Marqurite Henn. She was born around 1914, unknown exactly where, but assume western Kansas. Her parents Margaret Bell Griffin and George Frederick Henn came from the Franklin Co. Nebraska area. They separated or divorced sometime after 1916. Margaret Bell moved to Missouri probably around the St. Joe area. The girls went with Margaret Bell and the boys stayed with George. However no one remembers Marqurite(maggie) as being in Missouri with Margaret Bell and the other children. Rumor has it that she was adopted out or sold to some people in Missouri. I was told they though it was the Brown Shoe company people who adopted her. There also is a story that she was adopted by a family in St. George, Kansas.
