Looking for relatives of Leland Dale Swisher.
He married Betty June Davis approx. 1943/44.
He was in Navy at that time. He was born in Lakin, Kansas and was 21 yrs old in 1945,per my birth records. There was a lady at court house or library that knew family history 25 yrs ago. I did find him at that time after 20 or more years, but because he was not doing well at that time medically and did not stay in one spot very long I lost track of him. He has 2 sons and 1 daughter living (1 son dec'd at age 3)along with 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. His grandchildren would like to know some history of his family. I was told Leland may be dec'd. If so, I would like to know where buried - cannot find on s.s. files. He and wife, Betty, were separated since I was 8 yrs. old, but never divorced as far as I have been told. Bettys family does not know anything much about him. Betty is dec'd now. Her mother is dec'd and she's the only one that knew anything at all, but did not disclose.
