I am looking for any relative or someone who knew G "Hap" Martin. In some correspondence with a researcher in 1977 he said he had quite a bit of information on the Thompson family who are my ancestors.

Laura Thompson, daughter of George W Thompson married George Martin. I think "Hap"
Martin was some how related to the earlier George Martin.
George W Thompson was a brother to my
great grandfather James Monroe Thompson.
