Daniel or Dan Ball and his wife Lizzie (real name Elizabeth Williams) Ball lived on a farm at Kiowa Kansas in the early 1900's may have lived there yet in 1936. I am trying to find any information at all on this couple. Lizzie was born about 1860 in Licking Co. Jersey twp, OHIO, the daughter of Swain Williams and Mary A. Philbrook. I have a picture of Dan and Lizzie on their farm at Kiowa. This is virtually all I know about this couple.
Lizzie's Nephew Arthur Redifer Gearhart moved to Kiowa in the winter of 1897. He married Floy Stella McLaughlin in Medicine Lodge, KS on April 15, 1899. and the newly weds moved to California in Sept 1899.
I don't believe that Arthur worked for Dan and Lizzie on their farm. I am not even sure that Dan and Lizzie were on the farm at Kiowa in 1897.
