I'm researching my family's Civil War involvement and would appreciate info on my 2nd great grandfather John Cannon, formerly John Big Gun, Father of Henry Cannon, Grandfather of Dorothy Evelyn Cannon Sanders, Great grandfather Charles E. Sanders, 2nd Great grandfather to Charles R. Sanders. He is supposedly buried in Riverside Cemetery in Arkansas City. I would like to know the inscription on his stone to research his service records. My family in Arkansas City that know of the grave site are getting a little old to go around looking for the site and any help would be appreciated.
