Searching for information on Hiram BROTHERTON - known to be in Burlington Twp, Coffey Co, KS on the 1870 census and same name mentioned in his brother's (John) Obituary in 1903 and then mentioned Hiram was living at Winfield, Cowley Co, KS. In addition to finding contacts of descendants of this family, I would like to know if anyone can look him up on censuses (1870, 1880, 1900 & 1910) of Kansas to give me information as to ages, and other family members. I'm assuming this man is the son of Abel BROTHERTON and Sarah WEPTON (or Welpton / Webton) who died in Vigo Co, Indiana. Their son Hiram was born about 1839 and married Sarah PATTON at Vigo Co, IN in 1865. I have quite a bit of information to share on the rest of Hiram's siblings and parents but hoping to add with help of other descendants.
