Looking for two Phenis/Phenix lines. Vinton Phenis/Phenix b. May 1859 in Indiana married Annie E. Rizer 30 Sep 1884 in Greenwood Co., Kansas. They had children:
Henry V., Sep 1886, Frederick A, b. May 1891, and Florence L. b. Nov 1898.
In 1900 the family was in Topeka, Kansas. Vinton Phenix seems to have been a druggist.
Florence Phenis/Phenix, sister to the above Vinton, was born about 1857 in Indiana, married Edward Fenton Rizer, 31 Oct 1894 in Greenwood Co., Kansas.
These Phenis/Phenix individuals were the children of Isaac R. and Emily Phenis. RizerK@erinet.com
