I am looking for information on my great- grandfather,Leroy Gardner, from DeSoto. I know for certain he married Edna Sawyer on February 13, 1879 in Johnson County, and had a son, Clifton Sawyer Gardner- my grandfather. I believe his father was Bartlete Gardner of Guilford County, North Carolina, and that he had a brother, Walter Gardner, who lived in Marlin, Texas. I would like to learn more about Leroy and Edna and their ancestors. Thank you for any help you might give.
