I believe my great-great grandfather was Bartlete Gardner of Guilford County, North Carolina. I also believe Bartlete and Grafton were brothers, and the sons of Thaddeus Gardner and Eunice Starbuck. I know for certain that my great-grandfather was Leroy Gardner, of DeSoto, Johnson County. He married Edna Sawyer on February 13, 1879 in DeSoto.
