I am seeking information about John Frank Kotsch, my husband's great-grandfather. He was a resident of Troy in 1857 and fought in the 13 Kansas Regiment Company B during the Civil War. He was ultimately promoted to 1st lieut. John Frank was a shoemaker by trade and an early inhabitant of Doniphan County.
