Seeking others searching the Marcel(l), Vigus and Dittemore family lines that settled in
Doniphan Co., KS in the 1850's & later. Charles Louis Marcel, Sr. 1803-1884, married
Elizabeth Utley 1812-1893. Children: Pauline, Juliana, Nancy Jane, Mary Ellen, Jordan O.,
Alvina & Charles Louis, Jr. The name was changed to MARCELL for these children. The
Marcel's arrived in 1857. John VIGUS married Margaret Corienne DITTEMORE and were the
parents of Nellie VIGUS, who married Lon MARCELL. Any family links to these families
would be most appreciated. I will gladly share family information I have as well.
