I am searching for information about my great-grandmother, Mary F(rances) Nelson (b. 3-2-1870, d. 7-27-1947) who first married Joseph Young and then William C. Chatfield. She lived in Barber County KS with Joseph Young until he was apparently shot to death near Medicine Lodge in 1901. She married my great-grandfather WM Chatfield sometime between 1897 and 1907, maybe April 1906, perhaps in Kansas. She also may have attended school in Sharon, KS. She died in Duluth MN in 1947. Children with Joseph Young were John William, Bertha Irene, Ruth and Arthur. Children with William Chatfield were Orval and Oral.
