Lorene Degan - (my great grandmother) had 2 brothers Leo and Raymond a sister Evelyn. Lorene was born in Atchison on May 2, 1902. Her father was James William Degan (my great great grandfather) he had 2 brothers David and Owen and a sister Ermina. My great great great grandfather, who came from Ireland, was Owen D(e)gan then spelled D(i)gan. Owen was married to Mary Agnes. James Wm. was married to Mittie Gay Knisley.
