I need information on James HEWITT
born 1856, probably IL. as stated in census.
He came to Brown CO KS from MO (indicated
by census) where he married in 1885 Mary
Elizabeth GUINN. He was orphaned at an early
age. In 1892 he took a load of grain to
Robinson, purchased a railroad ticket to
Hiawatha, then bought a ticket on the train
to Grand Island NE. but left the train at
Fairbury NE. (this source from Newspaper)
and could be traced no further. Can anyone
help me solve this case?
