Uncle GEORGE MAXWELL Passed away very Suddenly Tuesday at 12:30 a.m. at his home in this city.

This city was shocked Tuesday morning when the work was passed around that Uncle George Maxwell was dead, though he had been in poor health for three years, there was no indication that death was near. At a little after 12 Mrs. Maxwell heard him get up and a little later noticed he was breathing heavily, and went to him, only to find that he was dying. Uncle George was an exemplary man, none of his children haveing ever heard him use a profane word. the funeral was held from the Methodist church this Thursday at 10:30 a.m. light Whinery in charge, Rev Bolton as assisting, interment being made beside his former wife in Shaffer cemetery near Potwin.
