Thank you for joining the Bylaws Discussion conference. This conference is available to KSGenWeb CCs only at this time and is for the purpose of discussing possible amendments to the USGenWeb Project bylaws. According to the USGW bylaws potential amendments must be sponsored by a state and acquire five state sponsors in order to be placed on the ballot in the summer election. Similar discussions will be ongoing in other states. Ideas proposed here will be compiled by the CC Bylaws Review Committee and eventually presented to the states for sponsorship.

There will not be a lot of rules to this conference. Please keep on topic. If you have a new topic, you are welcome to start one, but it should have something to do with bylaws amendments. Please remember that others in this conference are your colleagues and treat each with respect.

We are really interested in your ideas, so feel free to brain-storm, propose novel concepts, and suggest new directions. If at any time you wish to be removed from the conference, please let me know and I will unsub you.
