I could sure use some help in locating any and all information regarding my great grandfather Joseph S. Covert. Joseph was born approx. 1836, married Almedia ???, born approx. 1844 had (so far as I know) Crilla Leota, born in KS 6 Oct 1868 and Elsie L. born in KS 1874. This information was obtained from the 1880 Census for Atchison City, Atchison County. Joseph was a carpenter. Crilla is my grandmother. Crilla at some point married a man and had a daughter Aina Myrtle John (?) born: Dec. 1889 in Kansas. Did Joseph die in KS? Did Joseph marry Almedia in KS? Were there other children to their union?
