I am seeking information on my mother's family.She was born 5/15/1887 in Winfield, KS. Her brother was Clifford Chase, born 7/8/1885 in New Salem,KS. Her father was John Seth Chase, married to Lucindy Chase Evans (died abt 1891.) I believe her grandfather was S.W. Chase, born 1849 in Jennings Co,IN; he may have had 9 children; was Warden of KS State Pen.in Winfield,KS 1893-94 and died 1/14/1923.
Nona Casbergue married Selim F. Casbergue in Louisiana 5/6/1907; had 3 children: Alice Laura, Edwina Catherine and John Paul Casbergue (source of this query.)

Note: A Chase family ancestor was Samuel Chase, signer of the Declaration of Independence and a member of the 1st US Supreme Court. The family moved west to Indiana but I have little specific information beyond that.
