Have you seen the information in the book OSBORNE COUNTY KANSAS 1870 - 1930? In VOL II Book 2 there is an small article about John Theo WITT & family. Mrs. Daisy HOOVER is one of the names mentioned in this. In VOL II Book 1 there are some articles on some HOOVER families. Just glancing quickly through it, I don't see the Hoover names that you mentioned. However, it's always possible that there is a connection.

By the way it is interesting to see the WOMMACK name in your first posting. My great, great grandmother Nancy WARMAC HAHN lived in Osborne Co. I have seen her name with a variety of spellings: WORMAC/WORMACK/WAYMACK.
She was born 1829 in Illinois and died 1905 in Osborne Kansas. I know nothing of her ancestors or siblings, so if you ever come across a Nancy in your research, I would appreciate hearing from you about that.
