I am searching for information on Mary Smith Fessenden.Born in Canada about 1840. Her siblings were John Smith and Anna Smith McCaw. She married John W. Fessenden, in Porter County, Indiana 9 Oct. 1858. Their children were Nina born 1860, Rosellah 1861, Cora 1868, born in Indiana and Willie born 27 Oct. 1875 possibly in Kansas. Mary Smith Fessenden passed away in Labette County Kansas 4 March 1882, buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Labette County. John Fessenden remarried in 1883 and at that time listed his residence as Greenwood County. Nina Fessenden married W.W. Gerrard, 4-7-1883; Rosellah married P.C. Barlow, 4-10-1881 and Cora married Frank Griswold, 12-24-1885, all in Greenwood County. As these children remained in Greenwood County I am hoping to find information on them and also any information on Mary SMITH FESSENDEN, such as her place of birth and parents names.
