Milton OKERSON, b. 1827, KY, d. 1871, Chautauqua Co, KS. Married Jemima CRUM, 15 Jul 1852, DeWitt Co, IL. Living in Topeka, Shawnee Co. in 1870. Both living in Salt Creek, Chautauqua Co when they died in 1871 and 1872. Both buried in Crum Cemetery. Left seven minor children: Sarah Ella (BRIGGS), William Albert, Eliza Jane (HOPKINS), John Riley, Edward Sherman (my grandfather), Franklin L. and Ida M. We have been unable to determine who or when Ida married. Last record of her was 1880 Census Chautauqua Co, LaFayette, 10 years old, living with her brother-in-law, Ezra HOPKINS and sister, Eliza Jane. Also have been unable to determine which "Crum Aunt" raised Edward Sherman OKERSON, b. 1865, IL. He married Abbigail SLATER of Salt Creek, 1889. All help will be appreciated. Contact B.
