George Washington Morris is believed to be a grandson of "Captain" George Washington Morris, who was b.c. 1819, OH, d. 1899 and lived in Junction Twp and buried at Lamont Hills, n.e. of Lyndon, Osage County KS. "Captain" George m1) 1839, Sarah Jane Noyes, she d. 1845 Dearborn County, IN, m2)1855, to Hannah M. Caspill. Known children of George and Sarah were Warren b. 1840, Amos G. b. 1844, Isreal N. b. 1842, and Albert G. b. 1846.
