Seeking any information on George Washington Morris, b. 1869, Osage County KS, and died after 1914 unknown date and place. he married 1892 in Arvonia, Osage County KS. to Rebecca Grace Cortner or Courtner, b. 1871, d. 1914 in Ashland, Jackson County, OR. She was the daughter of Harvey James Cortner and Amanda Haymaker. George Washington Morris is believed to be a grandson of "Captain" George Washington Morris, who was b.c. 1819, OH, d. 1899 and lived in Junction Twp and buried at Lamont Hills, n.e. of Lyndon, Osage County KS. "Captain" George m1) 1839, Sarah Jane Noyes, she d. 1845 Dearborn County, IN, m2)1855, to Hannah M. Caspill. Known children of George and Sarah were Warren b. 1840, Amos G. b. 1844, Isreal N. b. 1842, and Albert G. b. 1846. Amos and Albert both had sons George born in 1869 and 1870.I have no proof to connect George Washington or Amos and Albert.
