Looking for information on Thomas Benton McBride. He was living in Doniphan County in 1877 when his daughter Mary Jane McBride was born. He was married to Sarah Smith who was born in Virginia. According to the family Bible, Thomas Benton McBride was a member of a Kansas cavalry unit, but the name and dates are unknown. Would appreciate any help.
