I am searching for information on my great grandfather Joseph Phillips. He was born about 1840 in PA. He appears in the 1880 census in Trego County, Township 12, range 23, SD 3, ED 314 (WaKenney) with his wife Flora. His is listed as an attorney at law. It may be that in July of 1879 he was elected the county attorney (J.C. Phillips). He may also have had a law practice in Trego County with a Mr. McGarvey. My research on my father's family stops with Joseph, and very little is known about him. I'd appreciate any help I could get. Regards, TO
