I am researching the Robert Archibald & Fannie Olive (MILLS) HOLMES family who went to Wichita, Sedgwick KS in 1908. He was b. 1852 in Rohrersville, Washington Co MD in 1852 and died in Wichita 1948. Buried Maple Grove Cem-Wichita. Fannie b. 1861 d. 1944 Wichita.

8. Charles Leroy b. 1896 Boone Co IA d. 1968 Wichita. Md Lotus Burton 1917 Wichita.

Most all of the above family are buried at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Wichita.

The father, Robert Archibald Holmes' obituary states the family lived in the Vernon district, southeast of the city. They were very active in the United Brethern Church. He was a member of the Oddfellows for 57 years.

Would like to find the descendants of this large family. Have a lot of ancestry to share.
