I am seeking any information regarding the Elijah TURNER family. The known Turner family consisted of Elijah, his wife Sarah (Talby--m. June 26, 1879, location unknown), and their children Richard A. (b. June 16, 1880, location, unknown), Charles Albert (b. February 16, 1884, location unknown) and twins Bertie and Bertha (b. May 2, 1888, Union, Missouri).

Elijah's father (first name unknown) lived in Udall, Cowley County, Kansas in 1887, but any dates prior to or after that year are unknown. I have a telegram that was sent to Elijah signed by Robert Rattiff, Mayor of Udall, stating that The elder Turner was in poor health, and most likely on his deathbed.

I believe that my search for family records has been thwarted by the fact that the elder Turner's wife (Elijah's mother) may have been full-blooded Indian (Cherokee). I am hoping to find any information about the elder Turner.
