This sounds close to our Turner family. Our
Elijah was born in Kentucky in 1820's. Had a son Joseph born 1842 and was in civil war. Sons John and Will and daughters Rebecca and ?

Elijah Turner was married to Elizabeth Wilder. They are on the 1850 Marion co, Ky census and son Joseph is on the 1870 Montgomery county Kansas census near the Wilder family.

All were in Kansas for a time but some came to Okla. and died here. They were also in Iowa for a time during the civil war.
