Seeking information about Pleasant SCOTT and his wife Catharine HON, who may have moved to Sedgwick Co. KS c1880s or later. Both born in Owen County, IN and married there. On 1870 Census in Iroquois County, IL. Catharine's sister (or first cousin) Mahala HON married Thomas SCOTT, also in Owen Co. IN. Thomas and Pleasant are probably not brothers, but lived near each other in IN and in IL. Thomas & Mahala moved to Sedgwick Co. KS, died and are buried there:
Mahala (HON) SCOTT died 2 Feb 1916, buried Maple Grove Cemetery, Maple Grove, KS. Thomas SCOTT died 3 Feb 1911, also buried Maple Grove Cemetery, Maple Grove, KS.
Where is Maple Grove Cemetery? Are Pleasant and Catharine (HON)SCOTT buried there? Are there descendants of either of these SCOTT families with whom we could correspond?
