I don't know if this is the same person, but I did find a John B. Keller listed in the 1870 Census in Labette Co, KS - Hackberry Twnshp pg. 8. It shows as follows:

....Effie G(J), 6, F, W, born IL

I didn't get through all of the census records, but will keep checking.
