Tammy, There was a family of Hoffmans in Enterprise in the late 1860's. They
owned the flour mill. There also was a Ralph in the family but, stayed in the
Enterprise, Kansas City area. The family, Christian, wife Elsbeth Senn and
4 yr. old son Christian B. left Switzerland in 1855. Arriving in the Enterprise
area in 1860. The son married Catherine America Hopkins, in 1873, they had
6 children one was a Ralph. The Kansas Flour Mill was sold to the Ehrsam (an
Ehrsam married into the family) company in
Faye Davis
