There was a Frank Forrestor Northrup in Syracuse from a few years prior to 1912 till his death in 1960. He had three daughters, Gladys (dcsd) Mureil(dcsd) and Nelda (lvng). There was also a son who died as a child. He was born prior to 1912. Mr. Northrup married a " Maybelle Systma " prior to coming to Syracuse. She died in 1980.

Mr. Northrup came to town and started a livery stable business of some sort. Later on he had a chain of automobile dealerships which he lost in the depression. He was able to keep the movie theatre he had built in 1930 in Syracuse and built another one in Holly Colorado and a drive in theatre in Syracuse also. Today the theatres in Holly and Syracuse still stand.The drive in was finally torn down in the 1980's.

All I know of Mr. Northrups life prior to coming to Syracuse was that he was from Coleridge (sp) Nebraska.

I am the Great Grandson of Frank and Maybelle, the grandson of their daughter, Gladys.
