In some of my research in the 1900 Federal Cencus in Osborne county, Lawrence township I show a C.M. Swank born Nov. 1854 in Illinois, his wife S. E. Swank born Dec. 1857 in Illinois, Son John born Sept. 1887 in Kansas, Son Don R. born April 1879 in Kansas, Daughter Blauchr (SP) born Dec. 1883 in Kansas, Son Rolla M. (sp) born Sept. 1880 in Kansas, Son Clinton born Feb. 1886 in Kansas, Daughter Grace born May 1888 in Kansas, Daughter Ruby born April 1890 in Missouri, Daughter Omellia born Oct. 1894 in Missouri, Daughter Inez born Feb. 1897, Son Charles born Feb. 1900 in Kansas, Son Cornelius born July 1892 in Missouri. There are two other Swanks listed just below them, they are L.S. Swank born April 1861 in Illinois ( I would say he is C.M.'s brother) and John Swank born Dec. 1828 in Ohio (I would say he is C.M. and John's Father) If you would like a copy of this page please email me, I hope this helps.
