My great grandfather and grandmother, Julius Ziegenhagen and Martha Melinda Folmer lived in and around Colby Kansas in Thomas County from about 1886 to 1900. Children born in Kansas were Anna Gertrude, Harley Roy, Ernest Carl, Jennie Esther, and Elmer Ray.
The family had moved to Ragan, Nebraska by 1902 where my Grandmother, Anna Gertrude, attended school.

I'm interested in learning where the family lived in Thomas County where they are reported to have taken out a timber claim and proved up a tract of land.
