I am looking to find the location of the grave of my great great uncle, Robinson (called Rob) Henry Reid (born 7 Aug 1874), who went to Kansas for work in the 1890's from his home in Larue County, Kentucky (near Lincoln's birthplace). He fell from a barn roof and was killed about 1897 and was buried in a "Catholic Cemetery near Highland KS" which is where he died. A stone was erected by my great, grandmother and other great great uncle sometime in the early 1900's, but we don't know the cemetery or the date.

My grandmother is 87 years old and I have promised her I would try to find the exact location and inscription of her uncle. Looking through the resources here on the web, I suspect he may have been buried in the Catholic Cemetery near Troy.

Being in KY it is unlikely I'll be able to come look for myself. Anyone out there can help ? Perhaps the tombstones in that cemetery have been transcibed ? Please e-mail me at SGBowling@aol.com .

Thanks in advance !
