My greatgrandparents from Atchison county had several pieces of original art work signed M.Laird. These are oil paintings, and are very professional. I see in 1895 census, many Laird entries living near my Arthur relatives.

I'm trying to find out if these were done by a Laird from Atchison county who was highly talented.

Any help appreciated.
