Looking for descendants of these families. James Riley YOUNG,(1821-1902) 1857 pioneer settler of Iola, merchant, married (1)Sarah LANDERS of Adams Co, IL, (2)Frances CLARK DINGMAN of Iola.
Brother Squire YOUNG,(1826-bef 1900) married to Sirilda MANLOVE of Adams Co, came to Iola about 1870.
Arthur and Bartlet LANDERS and families, brothers of Sarah, also removed to Allen Co in the 1860s.
James R. Young's dau Mary Ann married James Francis REYNOLDS in 1865, Iola. They had 9 children, among them Docia Estella, my ggrandmother, who married James S. BRADY in 1901 in Neosho Falls, Woodson Co.
James R. Young's son Julius married Helen Louise DIX in Woodson Co.in 1872.
Squire and Sirilda's daughter Nelly married Frank MARLEY of Iola.
