This is a continuation to my previous post. My grandmother Mahala Scott was previously married to a man by the last name Shirley prior to marrying my grandfather Perry Saunders. She had a son Dean Shirley by this man. So she may be listed as Mahala Scott Shirley at some point of time in census or any other official documents. The year of their marriage/divorce is not known.
