I am looking for any information on my
great grandmother, Jessie C. Bates,
daughter of William Bates and Henrietta
Nelson, born in Belleville, Kansas in
1865.Jessie had a brother, Charles E. Bates, also believed to be born in Belleville circa 1876. Around 1888-1890 they went to Bloomington Nebraska where Jessie married Orestes G. Bailey in 1893.
