Searching for any and all information on the Blackhoof family. They were part of the Shawnee tribe of Indians removed from Ohio to Kansas. Chief Blackhoof (quasky/Thomas)was married to a woman, Na-nex-si, also called the Rabbit. I know that Lenexa was named for her and that they owned land in the 71st and Switzer area. He was the first prohibitionist of Kansas and he had a son Eli. I am trying to get the children sorted out and figure out who they all belong to. Can anyone help?
Thanks.
