[Union] A.L.BECKER returned home from Wichita, Kan., last Friday afternoon after spending a couple of days there at the bedside of his brother, who was shot by highwaymen there last week. His brother is still living but hopes for his recovery are small.

I believe that the above article from a Cass County, Nebraska newspaper explains the death of my great great uncle, Peter J. BECKER. However, since this wounded brother of A.L. is not named in the article, I wonder if someone could look up the event in an old Wichita newspaper for me and let me know if the man shot was indeed Peter J. Thanks for any help.
